Pre-Med Track for Aspiring Primary Care Physicians
Baldwin Wallace's primary healthcare advancement program is an exclusive pre-med track for aspiring primary care physicians. It offers opportunities for early acceptance to medical school.
The primary healthcare advancement program's distinctive approach is linked to the first-year curriculum of primary care-focused medical schools. Its innovative format makes it the first of its kind in Ohio.
Early assurance partnerships with Ohio University's Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and Northeast Ohio Medical University provide you with a pipeline for early acceptance to medical school.
Hands-on research opportunities, case studies and dynamic class projects give you the tools to build an impressive application for medical school.
You'll work alongside professors and primary care physicians. You'll gain insights into the medical practices, wellness initiatives and disease prevention strategies used by professionals.
The program was developed in consultation with physicians, leading scholars and medical schools. It aligns with program requirements of DO and MD medical schools focused on primary care. Its rigor and comprehensive studies prepare you for the MCAT and admission to medical school.
It is an academically selective program.
